West Grey Police issued the following report.
During the week of June 2-9, 2022, the West Grey Police Service responded to 91 total calls for service.
On June 2, 2022, West Grey Police were called to a Bentick Twp. address in relation to a Mischief complaint. Investigation revealed that a person who was bound by a Court Order damaged / destroyed survey markers for a neighbouring property.
An 82-year old male from West Grey was arrested and is charged with:
He was processed and released on an Undertaking with conditions. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton at a later date.
On June 6, 2022, West Grey Police were called to a Domestic Dispute on Garafraxa Street, Durham. As a result of investigation it was learned that a window had been kicked out of a motor vehicle.
A 21-year-old male from West Grey was arrested and is charged with:
While in police custody the male caused damage to the police holding cell. This matter is still under investigation, with further charges pending.
He was processed and released on an Undertaking with conditions. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton at a later date.
