Monday June 12, 2023 West Grey Police were called by the “Ankle Bracelet” monitoring company that tracks people released from court to report a Bail Violation. Police used the GPS coordinates to locate the subject.
As a result of the investigation a 35-year old from West Grey was arrested and is charged with:
The accused was held in custody for a Bail Hearing.
Sunday June 18, 2023 at approximately 12:00 pm the West Grey Police Service, West Grey Fire Department and Wellington County EMS responded to a single vehicle ATV collision in the area of Grey Road 3 and Concession 8 in the former Normanby Township of West Grey.
The 64-year old driver from West Grey was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
The Ontario Provincial Police — Accident Reconstruction Unit was contacted and is assisting with the ongoing police investigation.
Sunday June 18, 2023, West Grey Police and West Grey Fire Department were called to an Allen Park Road address after a person set property on fire at the residence.
The suspect fled on foot when police arrived and an extensive search was conducted.

Motor Vehicle Collision – On Tuesday June 20, 2023, West Grey Police, Fire and EMS responded to a 2 vehicle collision involving an automobile and motorcycle at the intersection of Grey Road 28 and Knappville Road.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Victoria Health Centre, London. The collision remains under investigation with the assistance of the O.P.P. (T.I.M.E.) Traffic incident Management Enforcement Team.
