On March 9, 2023, at approximately 10:15 am, Grey-Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an injury at a local secondary school in Flesherton. It was reported that a student had been stabbed and required medical attention.
The student was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two students have been taken in custody. The investigation is ongoing and is considered isolated. School officials have taken steps to notify parents of the incident.
