It was with pride that Centre Grey Health Services Foundation welcomed Triton Engineering Services Limited as a major donor to the Together In Care campaign for the new Markdale Hospital.
Triton Engineering Services Limited are located in Central Ontario with offices in Fergus, Orangeville and Harriston. They are a community-based consulting firm that provides a wide range of civil engineering services where municipalities face the challenge of managing growth and maintaining and upgrading their public infrastructure.
“This major gift from Triton Engineering Services Limited will go a long way as we transform health care in our communities for generations to come” stated Harvey Fraser, Chair of Centre Grey Health Services Foundation and the Together In Care campaign. “It is really great to see community members like Triton Engineering step up to make this community the best it can be” advised Paul Stewart, volunteer of the Together In Care campaign.
“Triton Engineering is committed to supporting the communities we live and work in by improving the quality of life through the realization of our vision and investing in municipal services, the environment and health and well-being of the public” stated Ray Kirtz, Principal of Triton Engineering Services Limited.
Shovels hit the ground March 2021 and the hospital structure is shaping up nicely with strong support from the community. The new Markdale Hospital is over double the size of the existing hospital at 68,000 and is on track to open in mid 2023. At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.
South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.
Please consider supporting South Grey News with a donation in lieu of a subscription fee and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
