Traffic complaint leads to impaired charge in Chatsworth

On June 18, 2021 at approximately 11 pm Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to traffic complaint concerning a possible impaired driver on Highway 10, in the Township of Chatsworth.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Grey Bruce OPP detachment, where further tests were administered.

Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 27 year-old woman, from Saugeen Shores, Ontario with the following offences:

• Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and drugs 
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) 
• Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available 
• Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused must attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 29, 2021.
