Team Triton to the rescue: meet Wendall, Mastiff/Cane Corso Mix

Team Triton to the rescue: meet Wendall, Mastiff/Cane Corso Mix

SPONSORED CONTENT — Hi Guys! Its me — Wendall. My foster mom said its time I tell you a little bit about myself and not rely on my good looks (they totally worked on my foster mom, one look at me and she took me in).

I am a Mastiff/Cane Corso Mix. I am one-and-a-half years-old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am good with both males and females and children 14+, although I was with younger children previously.

I am good with other dogs and I am mostly with females currently but have been trialed with a male puppy and male adult dog and was good with both.

I don't mind the senior cats but those young ones that run around so much — I want to chase them, so I would be best in a no-cat home.

I am doing sooooo much better on leash now. My foster mom walks me at the park with a gentle leader in case I leave my listening ears at home, but less busy areas I'm ok with a harness or my Martingale collar.

I am medium energy but because of my breed, I don't like long walks on hot days. You can find me chilling in the AC or wading at the lake — I like the water!

I am crate and house-trained, but don't like to go longer than five hours without a bathroom break.

I am good in the car and will sit nicely in the backseat.

I am doing better with my mouthing and rarely do it anymore but I may need reminders that this isn't ok .

I am very gentle when taking treats and can sit, shake a paw and lay down too.

My foster mom says I am like her weighted blanket because I do like a good cuddle. I weigh about 100 lbs, so I am a very heavy blanket.

I do well with routine and would love a home with someone with breed experience.

If you are interested in me please complete an adoption application at www.teamtriton.ca and my foster mom will see if we are a match.

For more information about me, Team Triton Rescue, or to browse through pictures and profiles of other dogs available for adoption, visit their website or their Facebook page.

Donations are also accepted.
