The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired related offences following a traffic complaint.
On January 23, 2023, just after 11:45 pm, The Grey Bruce OPP received a traffic complaint regarding a northbound motor vehicle on Highway 10 in the Township of Chatsworth.
Officers located the motor vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, officers detected signs of impairment and the driver was placed under arrest. The driver was then transported to a Grey Bruce OPP station for further testing.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 32-year-old from Owen Sound with the following offences:
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
