Strong community support for new Markdale Hospital from Ferris & Celhoffer

Ferris & Celhoffer, with offices in Flesherton, Dundalk and Creemore, were proud to support the Together In Care campaign for the new Markdale hospital this week.

“It is very satisfying to us to feel that our firm has made a contribution to not just having a hospital in Markdale, but one that is modern, well-designed and able to provide high quality medical care and health care services to our local community”, stated named partners Megan Celhoffer and John Ferris.

“The community is responsible for 100% of the cost to furnish and equip this new hospital. Therefore, we are truly grateful to Ferris & Celhoffer for their generosity. It is strong support like this that makes me proud to call this community home.” stated Rob Fawcett, Volunteer of the Together In Care campaign for the new Markdale Hospital.

The new Markdale hospital is now 50% complete. Most of the structure is now done, including the framework and the base of the roof. Mechanical piping, ductwork and electrical is going in and drywall installation has begun in the lower level. It is on target to be completed in mid-2023.
