One individual is facing charges following a property-related investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).
On January 15, 2025, members of the Grey Bruce OPP CSCU identified a property located on Sideroad 5 in Chatsworth Township, which was found to contain a significant number of stolen commercial motor vehicles (CMVs). The Grey Bruce OPP CSCU executed a search warrant at the site, where they seized and recovered four tractor-trailer trucks, sixty-three CMV trailers, and ten passenger vehicles in various stages of disassembly. The investigation into the status of the recovered vehicles remains ongoing. The total value of the recovered property at this time is estimated at over $2.6 million.

The accused was arrested and released and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on February 27, 2025.
