OPP looking for video surveillance relating to mischiefs in Markdale

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the publics' assistance in locating video surveillance of a series of mischiefs that occurred in the town of Markdale.

On March 27, 2024, at 6:52 a.m., the Grey Bruce OPP responded to a series of mischiefs in Markdale. Sometime between March 26, 2024, at 10:00 pm, and March 27, 2024, at 6:52 am, unknown individual(s) attended ten residences in the Town of Markdale and spray-painted vehicles, garage doors and residences. The residences were on Lawler Drive, Edith Avenue, Main Street East, Stonebrook Way and George Street, Markdale.

Police are looking for anyone who has information or video surveillance between March 26, 2024, at 10:00 p.m., and March 27, 2024, at 6:52 a.m., of the areas of Lawler Drive, Edith Avenue, Main Street East, Stonebrook Way and Geroge Street are being asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
