On April 9, 2021 at 3:49 pm, Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located a motor vehicle that was stopped in the live lane of traffic on the 7th Line, near Sideroad 16C, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Officers spoke with the driver, who was found to be in contravention of a Court Order, from a previous police occurrence. Further investigation revealed that the involved vehicle was reported stolen from another municipality earlier that day.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 24 year old man, from Hanover, with possession of property obtained by crime (over $5,000.), section 355(a) Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and failing to comply with a Probation Order, section 733.1(1) CCC.
The accused must attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on May 20th, 2021.
