One individual is facing charges after the police received complaints of a motorcycle driver doing donuts in a parking lot.
On June 1, 2024, at 8:42 pm, the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an impaired individual riding a motorcycle doing donuts in a parking lot in Grey Highlands. The police located the individual in a busy parking lot. As police were speaking to the driver, the driver was displaying signs of impairment. The driver provided a sample of breath into an Approved Screening Device (ASD) which registered a fail. The driver was transported to the Grey Bruce OPP Detachment for further testing.
As a result, a 33-year-old from Grey Highlands was charged with the following:
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
