On November 7, 2021, officers responded to stop the driver of a stolen pickup truck being operated erratically and at speeds upward of 150 km/h.
The driver ran over a tire deflation device and then struck a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The collision resulted in the death of a 40-year-old man, and serious injuries suffered by a 14-year-old girl and 26-year-old man.
