On June 21, 2022, at 10:19 a.m., a Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Grey Road 13 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The officer conduced a traffic stop on a motor vehicle, after it was found to be travelling above the posted speed limit.
The officer spoke with the driver of the motor vehicle and detected signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to a local police detachment for further testing.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 36 year-old from Grey Highlands, with the following offences:
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a future date.
