Two youth were treated for minor injuries after a collision in Markdale.
On March 21, 2024, at 10:36 am, the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision between a vehicle and two pedestrians that occurred at the intersection of Toronto Street North and Grey Road 12 in Markdale, and that the driver had left the scene.
Police attended and determined that the pedestrians were crossing at the crosswalk when the vehicle struck them. The pedestrians were treated at the scene for minor injuries and not transported to hospital. Police canvassed the area for video surveillance to identify the driver and vehicle.
