The Collingwood Climate Action Team (CCAT) is inviting local businesses and organizations to an exclusive in-person information session on the innovative Green Economy Hub Pilot project for the South Georgian Bay region.
Sustainability is proving to be a strategic advantage for organizations across Canada, and Green Economy Hubs are central to this shift. In partnership with Green Economy Canada, CCAT is proud, along with many multi-sector partners, to help lead the launch of the Hub Pilot Project in Southern Georgian Bay. Participating businesses will join Green Economy Canada's extensive network, gaining valuable resources to measure their carbon footprint, set and achieve reduction targets, develop actionable strategies, and monitor progress over time.
This free event will feature inspiring stories from local businesses that have joined the pilot project and are already taking steps to reduce their carbon pollution. Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with these trailblazers, ask questions, and network with other local business leaders committed to sustainability.
By greening your business, you can strengthen your brand, reduce costs, foster employee and customer engagement, and make a meaningful impact in your community.
Join the CCAT for refreshments, short presentations, and engaging discussions.
Learn how your business can be a part of this transformative movement towards a greener future.
At South Grey News, we endeavour to bring you truthful and factual, up-to-date local community news in a quick and easy-to-digest format that’s free of political bias. We believe this service is more important today than ever before, as social media has given rise to misinformation, largely unchecked by big corporations who put profits ahead of their responsibilities.
South Grey News does not have the resources of a big corporation. We are a small, locally owned-and-operated organization. Research, analysis and physical attendance at public meetings and community events requires considerable effort. But contributions from readers and advertisers, however big or small, go a long way to helping us deliver positive, open and honest journalism for this community.
Please consider supporting South Grey News with a donation in lieu of a subscription fee and let us know that our efforts are appreciated. Thank you.
