The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a driver with impaired related offences after they entered a RIDE program.
On March 27, 2023, at 8:09 pm, the Grey Bruce OPP were conducting a Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program at Grey Road 3 and Grey Road 40 in the Township of Chatsworth, when a driver entered the program who was displaying signs of impairment.
Officers placed the driver under arrest, and they were transported to the Owen Sound Police Station for further testing.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 52-year-old from West Grey with the following offences:
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
