On November 20, 2022, the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a suspected impaired driver at a business located on Main Street East in the Township of Southgate.
Police arrived on scene and discovered that the accused had displayed a weapon after a member of the public had taken their keys away.
A 52-year-old from Melancthon Township was placed under arrest and is facing the following charges:
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
