Break and enter in progress leads to arrests of three men in Hanover

On November 18, 2022 at 3 am, the Hanover Police Service with assistance from the West Grey Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress to a commercial property on County Road 28 in the Town of Hanover.

Police searched the property and located three male suspects who were arrested without incident. Police recovered stolen property at the scene and seized break-in tools.

The suspects remain in police custody at this time.

A 36-year-old male from Hanover faces charges of Break, Enter and Theft, Mischief Under $5000, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Breach of Release Order x 2.

A 51-year-old male from Hanover faces charges of Break, Enter and Theft, Mischief Under $5000 and Possession of Break-in Instruments.

A 56-year-old male from Hanover faces charges of Break, Enter and Theft, Mischief under $5000, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Fail to Comply with Probation.

Police want to thank the witness who called Police to report this incident. It’s a great example of policing partners working in cooperation with citizens to ensure our community and greater communities remain safer and more secure for everyone.
