One individual arrested after five vehicles stolen in Chatsworth Township

Two suspects wanted for vehicle theft.

One individual has arrested in connection to the theft of fifive vehicles in Chatsworth Township, two suspects still outstanding

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after receiving information that five motor vehicles were stolen from a property on the Grey Bruce Line in Chatsworth Township within a period of two days.

December 12, 2023, at 6:46 pm, the Grey Bruce OPP received a report three motor vehicles were stolen from a property on the Grey Bruce Line in Chats worth Township. There was no video surveillance.

December 13, 2023, at 8:05 am, the Grey Bruce OPP received a report that two more motor vehicles were stolen from the same property on the Grey Bruce Line.

As a result of the investigation police have charged a 33-year-old from Chatsworth with the following offences:

  • Fraud under $5000
  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on January 25, 2023.

The police obtained surveillance footage of the suspect and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individuals in the photo.
